I love that this is now possible.
It's not clear whether you can hook up the bike to a battery, allowing you to store the power you generate, rather than just charging devices as you peddle. If this is the case, it would make this even better. You'd then be able to count pedal power as a renewable energy source, along with solar and wind. And that would be amazing.
It might sound like a lot of hard work, for a little power, but if you called it your "home gym", put on some music and did a virtual Soul Cycle class (using power from your session, of course), that would make it more palatable to many.
I for one would love this. Not only would you feel great for the exercise, but you'd be saving the planet at the same time :)
