This system works similar to a thermos.
Most of the alternative energy sources aren't available 24/7.
This storage can store that energy as heated water (95 °C). Then the energy can be used in winter for heating houses and other buildings (there's no need for gas anymore).
Benefits:
- lifespan is more that 50 years
- high efficiency
- it consists of safe materials (mostly concrete)
Ecovat is the first energy storage system that can store 95 °C with > 90% efficiency over 6 months

I see Ecovat as a great eco-friendly system in generating thermal energy. As outlined in your title line generating thermal energy for 200+ houses is a good amount of energy being produced and I see it mass adopted in outskirts areas where 24*7 electricity is not avliable. Great hunt.

An effective way to store thermal energy and have a stable energy supply with zero emissions is a great solution. More and more innovative eco-friendly ways of producing energy are appearing every day. Wow, this is something different than other similar products, that we have been seeing on this platform. This can definitely be very useful to store the energy and use them when the generation is not possible, e.g. we can generate solar energy and then store and use it . Need to see, how they make it affordable. Awesome hunt.

Man, it just amazes me when engineers come up with these developments. I'm an engineer by course, but didn't pursue a career in it.
Architects do amazing jobs when they come up with something that help reduce energy waste. Finding other sources of energy such as thermal water definitely will be of help people in cold places, most specially those who experience winter. Thanks for the hunt!
