Micrometer is measuring device it is used to measure distance/length diameter with high accuracy it has accuracy of 0.005. it has one fixed jaw and one sliding jaw. When thimble rotates spindle moves back and forth.
The reading is taken as direct from digital screen in digital micrometer
While in simple micrometer reading bis taken as
Reading of main scale+(ready of rotating scale×least count)
