Hunter's comment
HANK is a lower limb exoskeleton designed for the rehabilitation of adults between 1.50 and 1.95 m tall, with a maximum body weight of 100 kg, such as stroke patients after suffering neurological insults. It can also be used for gait compensation in patients with paralysis of the lower extremities after spinal cord injuries. It is intended for ground gait training in a clinical setting as a bilateral portable device with six degrees of freedom (DoF), in which the hip, knee and ankle are motorized joints. The mechanical design is based on several criteria: an exoskeleton design must be ergonomic, comfortable and light, with a strong structure, adaptable to different users and with safety in mind.
