Plants inside home or room give quite a fresh look to the place and reflects aesthetic sense of individual or family. A smart planter is here to help you out of planting. Hydra Light is a fascinating planter which reflects the need of watering plants through colored LED lights.
The soil moisture data is gathered by a sensor, then communicated through a micro controller to distribute power to the respective lights.
Moisture level is communicated through three level of LED lights. This way you can understand that when your plants need water.

When we can see immediately, we need to watering the flowers, its a big help, i think.

HydraLight soil moisture meter if water be less, giving you the alarm. It has one sensor, if water be less, color of light be change. Good idea.

It seems to be a very good idea to bundle two things, pots and lights. But I'm a little worried that the light from the pot will have a bad influence on the plants.

The flowers give a nice weather to the house or room. The flower is good for the design also. But we are killing the flower, because we are forget giving water them. The HydraLight give the alarm for us.

This is such a straight forward, and yet clever way to keep plants healthy. Even a hopeless gardener like me could use this to keep potplants alive, the sensor knows when the soil is too dry, and the lighting changes so that the ignorant gardener (or rather forgetful) knows it's time to water the plants. Simple, but also very clever. Nice hunt.

aside from its practical use- letting you know when to water your plant, having an additional "light" would boost your interior decoration especially when placed strategically on a room.
