Intra is an andriod app which is still under development but you can download it from playstore and provide feedback accordingly.

By intra you can encrypt domain name lookup ,also going by the slow adoption of Andriod 8.0,8.1 oreo ,it will take time for your device to get oreo ,now if you want to try DNS ,intra will to job for you . jigsaws intra uses local vpn to establish connection ,so like android p .

You have two DNS options cloudfare DNS and google DNS ,It shows real time graph of network queries.
