Taras Kulakov the “Crazy Russian Hacker” released a video where he opens a 65 year old military sleeping bag that was vacuum sealed in a metal can. The U.S. Armed Forces packaged the sleeping bags in sardine-like cans back in 1952.

That was a pretty good video! I didn't know that the government had the sleeping bags packed that way. Maybe it was easier for shipping, and there wouldn't be any bugs in it when you pulled it out of the can.
