Getting fresh farm produce in urban areas can be quite difficult truly and this is quite an ingenious way around it. Aside from that, I really do think the floating garden will also provide an aesthetic value to the environment.

Everyone will making great innovation in every way. The eco barge concept might sound not a new concept in agriculture but it deserves appreciation in the midst of urban life that is full of occupancy and far from free land. This will bring more value that the existence of crop land can still be fulfilled even in densely populated areas.

This is a great idea. I’ve seen more and more attempts to use water space for crops recently, the idea is ingenious. Would love to see better usage like this continue into the future

This is an awesome idea. I would like to see these in Manchester, we have the Manchester ship canal and the Bridgewater Canal so there is plenty of space for them. Nice hunt!

Designs like Eco Barge are much needed in current due to increased concentration of pollutants in the air. Yeah, it is right that the land in the urban areas is not much available for large gardens and those who own, prefer to sell it for houses or commercial purpose. This would increase the beauty of the waters where it will float.
In China, due to increased air pollution, they are constructing green buildings in which plants are integrated on every portion. They are very similar to this project. They have also developed a system to suck pollutants like CO2 from the air in the buildings and make electricity from it.
It is good to know that the world has started thinking about pollution levels which are lethal for the planet.

Eco Barge is very eco-friendly providing clean and fresh food utilizing less water than traditonal farming. Also the main benefits of growing food in such floating garden is that no pests or insects can degrade the quality of food. So that eliminates the need to use insecticides and pesticides. It is suitable for place here land is not fertile enough to grow foods and nearby river or other sources are available. This can be the future when world suffers food scarcity due to ongoing population growth rate and global warming. You don't need any space to setup this. Who will live floating in river lol. Coolest one!!!

In urban area space is always a constraint and the life tends to a synthetic and that is where you need to make it organic and that can be possible only when you can have your gardening. Eco Barge is a solution to this kind of situation and it relies on the concept of vertical gardening and it provides an alternative way to grow organic food like fruits and vegetables etc.

This barge gets more from water than anything can. Staying over the water it ensure that it always has from where to take the prime material to water the seeds and ensure great harvest. Pretty smart invention which can take agriculture to a different level while floating on water - like hydroponic agriculture.

This eco barge was designed as a place where citizens of Belgrade could get acquainted with vertical gardens

Looks like this was specifically designed for citizens of Belgrade, and this product was designed on Danube River. So its not true that it can be used everywhere else. Where there is more water surface, this could be a great solution. And they designed to utilize the water surfaces because the land price are more.

This is so cool, men! By the way, i doesnt live in a "river" urban area, we just have a little lake and a swamp, but i can imagine, how looks this on the water!
And this kind of technology is that, what the world need, for feed the people! I hope, in the near future, we can see lot of "floating" innovation.

A green floating garden is a great idea for the urban places which use to have a very small room even for the humans but this product made it possible to have a short space floating garden and help you to grow your own organic food. Eco barge is a much-needed product nowadays. It has many pros like;

Having a garden in a city is difficult not only because it is expensive to have land but garden also must be suitable for plants. Moving this Eco Barge, wherever you want, is a great feature (and of course it would be nice to have a low costed garden) Awesome hunt.

This floating garden can be installed without too much cost (you don't need to pay money for the land) but the best part, it can be moved to the sunlight. We can have a land but it may not have direct sunlight, so it has too many advantages. I am sure it will be useful for a lot of people. Perfect hunt, congratulations.

Make the garden house a little bigger and one has the garden not only floating but also in front of eg the bedroom! :) Love the combination of vertical gardens (anyway the future) on water... Think bigger and we have vertical gardens at sea.

This is a fantastic innovation. This floating garden is great for the urban area, and I think it can be set up in less space with very little cost. It looks good in design. The need for such designs in urban areas is very high. Because the space for urban areas is less available for the garden.

Why not if this one comes to my city i visit it every day but did it moves with the flow of water or it has some sort of system in it which moves it on pre-defined path or we need a operator 24/7/365 to control it's movement. The product is cool though.

I'm a big believer in this type of green technology because I'm old enough to remember how the weather in my area was effected when most of the greenery was torn up for ubanization. Adding greenery that floats can be helpful for the envirnment and grow a little food where needed. Planting anything green is super important no matter how small it may seem.
