The well established Mobile Game Development Company iCandy is launching their first game on the Blockchain:
CryptantCrab
is a Spin-Off of the successful Mobile Game Crab War, made by an award-winning company that has access to 350 Million gamers worldwide.
The game is a PvP Player that will fuse with the ability to create your own unique assets on the blockchain. Seems like a perfekt fit!
In this game you will be able to battle, mutate, collect and trade artistically designed crabs. Thanks to the blockchain your crab will be dezentralized and can only ever be changed and trained by you. There are millions of ways to mutate and change the crab to create the perfect CryptantCrab for fighting!
The game runs on the Ethereum Blockchain, to play you will have to install Metamask.
According to the roadmap of the developers, pre-sale is gonna start tomorrow and the launch of the game will be in December. Battle system is scheduled for Q1 2019.

I think this one has potentia, because its a well-established mobile game developer. If you have a well designed game on the phone it will address lots of people who might not know yet, how cryptocurious they really are!

Thats so true.. I did stop buying into games that are too expensive to start. They will never be mass compatible that way anyways!
Some games have different entry lvls, where you can start with no money but most don't even show anything of the game before they ask for quite big investments. So getting game assets is basically a gamble!

That is true. 2018 is the year where it all started. Well, I guess it really started in the end of 2017 with the launch of cryptokitties. There is even interest by game development companies like Ubisoft in the trend, so hopefully there is a bright future ahead!

Some parts of the game will be accessable before next year. starting with the pre-sale tomorrow.
I play Axie Infinity for example, where the battle system was only launched two weeks or so ago. Before I was already very busy with collecting, trading and breeding and it was quite addicting. We will see if it will be similar with CryptantCrab!

Der Typ von Crypto-games.de macht das ganz gut, ne? Ist das nicht sogar der einzige deutsche Blogger? Ich hab nen Twitteraccount nur für Blockchaingames, Pc- Spiele waren schon immer eine große Schwäche von mir und was es an guten Online MMORPG's gibt hat mich auch schon immer interessiert. Eig ist es Steemmonsters zu verdanken, dass ich auf Steem geblieben bin, die sind nämlich genau dann aufgetaucht, als ich hier angefangen habe :D

Voll! Der ist glaube ich auch noch ganz jung, aber das heißt ja in diesem Bereich nix. Hab ein paar mal E-Mail Kontakt mit ihm, sehr nett und versiert.
Lustig, das ist bei tatsächlich exakt das gleiche. Ich hatte die Schnauze schon voll und habe mich hier nur noch gelangweilt. Ohne Steem Monsters wäre ich mit hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit nicht mehr aktiv hier. Meine Steem hätte ich aber da gelassen.
Ja, ich bin auch quasi von Tag 1 an dabei, hab die ersten 5 Browser Games aktiv gespielt und schon damals Items für ein paar Kröten auf eBay verscherbelt. Von den Online MMORPG's habe ich ganz bewusst die Finger weg gelassen, mir war sehr klar, das dies nicht gut für mich ist. Das ist jetzt (bald) total anders, denn dann kann während dem Spielen Geld verdient werden und viele junge, smarte Menschen werden nicht Kellnern, sondern beim Spielen etwas hinzu verdienen können. Faszinierend.
Logo, stateofthedapps.com und dappradar.com sind Werkzeuge die ich täglich nutze. Insbesondere aktuell aufgrund EOS, da pumpe ich aktuell mehr rein.

mh, ja dabei darf man nicht vergessen, dass dort vor allem auf die Transaktionen auf der Blockchain geachtet wird, da landen schnell alle EOS Spiele in den Rankings ganz oben, weil die meisten Ethereum Spiele noch ihr Gameplay auf den Servern haben. Ich bin kein großer EOS Fan. Ich denke, dass die höhere Skalierbarkeit auf Kosten der Dezentralität geht (ohne das dahinter eine Community wie die von Steem steht). Davon ganz abgesehen taugt mir auch die Art von Spielen, die auf EOS laufen überhaupt nicht. Das Niveau ist nicht viel höher als das von fb-brwoserspielen oder halt pures Gambling. Das fördert kein gesundes Spielverhalten, aber EOS kann mit der Zahl der Transaktionen angeben, wenn Tausende von Menschen um ihre Coins würfeln. Ich glaube, dass die Entwicklung von Sidechains im Endeffekt viel nachhaltiger sein wird und damit neue Verpflechtungen möglich werden, die über das hinaus gehen, was Chanis wie EOS oder TRON bieten. Als Trader hingegen sind das auf alle Fälle sinnvolle Investitionen für die nähere Zukunft, wenn man sich nicht zu sehr von der Ideologie dahinter einlullen lässt.

genau, weil die Kitties die Ethereum Chain vollgestopft haben und sonst Spiele nicht machbar sind. Ein echtes Problem auf dieser Chain, weshalb sie auch für Spiele aus meinem Blickfeld verschwunden ist aktuell.
Das hast Du perfekt auf den Punkt gebracht. Vitalik Buterin hat sich dazu ähnlich geäußert kürzlich. Das gilt leider ebenso für Steem. Aber Du hast auch mit der Community recht, das ist viel Wert und in der Form einzigartig.
Ja, Gambling dominiert aktuell ziemlich krass, aber genau da habe ich gerade EOS verpackt, das ist eben auch eine Chance. Nicht als Spiel, sondern nur als high-risk-invest, oder so.

hm, ja vlt, aber ich fands gerade schön, über alles mögliche zu bloggen und mich nicht festlegen zu müssen.
