Kidding aside, this will be very helpful in saving electrivity bills. In today's world, I just noticed that the younger ones are not very conscious about it. They just let appliances that are not being used still running and they do not have the least awareness of the energy that they are wasting. For example, my landlady's son turns the TV on while he is playing games on his phone. It is the TV that is watching him! If they can have this Envirotouch then waste of energy can be minimized if not stopped at all.

I do like the idea behind this, but I'm not sure I'd retro-fit new switches throughout my home.
Saving energy is important, not only for your own sake (lower bills), but for the planet's too. So, I applaud any effort in this direction.
But I'm struggling to think of many instances where I'd want a timer on a switch. If I'm in a room, I don't want the lights turning out after an hour - I'm still there. If I'm watching the TV, or on my computer, no, and no.
I could see where it might be good for a fan, or a heater, but I don't think these are items you just leave on indefinitely anyway.
I do really like the idea of motion sensors in a room, and when everybody leaves, your lights and any appliances (unless otherwise told not to) switch off automatically - that would be great.
But having everything on timers? I think I'd use them occasionally, or for a very limited set of appliances/circumstances.
As I said. I'm not against these, as they're fighting on the right side of a very important issue - I just don't think they're for me. Nice hunting again, @calprut

We can save the planet if we can effectively manage the energy that we get from different resources. I normally try to manually switch off appliances when not in use, with this timer switch I really do not have to bother most of the time. Just set the time for appliances to be switched off from the switch.

This will be an awesome saving to my electricity bills. Most of the time the kids are not at all worried about turning off the ACs ( forget about light / fans), and it just keeps on operating, even though there is no one there, for long time. So this will be a rescue. And having different presets, helps us to configure based on need. Great hunt.

Yeah, this is the best tool to put a limit on the electricity bills. I always forget to turn off electric appliances at the home and they cause a huge peak in the bill. It is very handy to overcome this habit.

Lovely they have beautiful range of envirotouch swtiches pretty cool and i was exploring their site so i was monitering switches there are 4 different kind of switches with differnt names. I loved their 5 strategies for lower energy bills well on energy matter we all should be very focused because no one wants high bills and they way they are telling people to save energy is commendable :)

Peoples mostly attach charger to phone and go to sleep which is wrong cause phone only require 2 to 3 hrs to be fully charged and if we overcharge it then it's battery life reduce more frequently therefore i really like their automatic countdown timer switch because it will help users to charge their smart phone more safely as it automatically stop charging after a set period of time pretty cool. Could you buy this one for me @calprut? I remember someones thesis by the same concept, they didnt pay me from my efforts I made for them in order to succeed. I think you know this guy ;)
But theirs is an IOT device that lets you connect, the difference between the both of the technology is that this isnt IOT just an electrical timer.

An awesome find! I too am after saving the bills but, I think that another practical use for this is when you are on vacation and you do not want anyone thinking that there's no one in your house. By setting the timer around 1 hour perhaps every night, it would seem like there's someone around deceiving burglars who are out "shopping" for houses.
