By default, macOS just have read-only support for NTFS drives. However, the third-party NTFS for Mac solution iBoysoft NTFS for Mac breaks this limitation and empowers Mac users to interact with NTFS drives, including NTFS-formatted external hard drives, SSDs, and USB flash drives, by providing full read and write capabilities on Mac running macOS 10.13 and later versions.
