JacPot is a new community for [Canadian] potheads. The app, which is available for both iOS and Android, is still in an early stage and for many different elements has simply embedded Leafly or Weedmaps within the app.
It will be great to follow the evolution, as the community section of the app is nicely designed and may rank among the best “mobile forums” available, especially done by an indie dev.
The app offers the usual:
- Find a dispensary nearby
- News
- Strains
- Strain reviews
And, less common on most cannabis sites: an events calendar.

Funny detail: The app developer hasn’t yet replaced the default button links found in the popular “The7” WordPress theme. :D

Not sure if an app kit or not but their community section is among the cleanest “forums” I’ve ever seen in a mobile app.
