I don't know about you but coming back from the UK, it takes me a full week to start feeling human again. Jetlag the other direction doesn't really get to me but coming back in time? I'm like a disoriented Marty McFly trying to find out the correct directions to the dance...

So what does this app do? Well, you'll give it some information about where you're traveling from and at what times, what your travel schedule is like ect, and it automatically suggests what times you should be sleeping in order to resync your circadian rythem.

When that's out of whack you can feel like a total zombie. If you've ever been really jet-lagged you know what I mean.

It works by effecting the 4 things that influence your sleep schedule the most, Light, Sleep, Melatonin and Caffeine, and suggests taking and avoiding certain actions to get back on your schedule faster. Less down time means more enjoying your new location right away.

Love this concept and they seem to have put a lot of thought and design into the way it works. Will certainly be using the next time I travel.

Mostly common sense rolled into an app, might seem unnecessary until you remember most people are lacking in "common" sense 😂

Haha sure, hopefully you'd only have to use these suggestions once or twice and then have a handle on how you're feeling and know how to adjust that moving forward. So much of health is learning how to LISTEN to your body before you just pop a pill or chug some caffiene. Common sense as you said- but unfortunately that's a learned skill 😅

Sounds interesting! My problem for most of the time would probably be that I have to stick to the schedule, but when I am tired I need to sleep, I can't just stay up. I would probably even fall asleep while standing...

wow thatnks a lot for that @redtravels . I try to put care and effort into the stuff I pick, mostly because I think it's cool and I want other people to get excited about it too.

I think the hardest part for me is not staying up when I'm tired but forcing myself to sleep when i'm not! haha

pros:

  • a nice and unique app

  • provide some information about where you are traveling and at what time, what your itinerary is like ect, and automatically

cons:

  • none

You have found some solid hunts lately. Another stellar find here and an app that I could really use with a hectic travel schedule.

Pros:

  • Great advice for different people
  • Input your data and get our specific results.

Cons:

  • Not much, other than everyone is affected differently by jet lag and none one size fits all.

Overall this is a solid hunt. I know from a lot of travel experience that there are so many factors that can affect my jetlag, from the food, to the people I am sitting beside, to the movie I watch, to the type of head pillow I use etc. So tough to beat jetlag, but this app will likely help
