Is love in the air? Well when it comes to pairing fonts for your designs, it just may be! This little web app is so cute. It helps you choose visually complimentary pairs of fonts in a way that feels like you're stepping through a choose your own adventure love story...

"Start by choosing a typeface to pair. Like a conventional dating website, Type Connection presents you with potential “dates” for each main character—without the misleading profile photos and commitment-phobes. You are the matchmaker. You decide what kind of match to look for by choosing among several strategies for combining typefaces. Along the way, you explore typographic terminology, type history, and more. By playing Type Connection, you deepen your own connection with type."-source

This is such a super cool tool if you're looking to learn typer theory and more about WHY certain fonts look good together and why others don't. Also it gets points for super creativity and even gives you some examples if you just want a match and don't really want to play the game version.

Also... no sign of comic sans... Thank God!

        Here I thought this was the web app made for me and would me help finding a partner who likes similar typefaces and who would be complimentary with my own font-stack.

            Pros:

            • Well developed website with a stunning UI and UX
            • Possibility to compare fonts with each other to see if they fit together
            • Gamification (Dating aspect of choosing fonts is fun to use)
            • It's free to use, awesome :)

            Cons:

            • Nothing
