Netbeans is a software to develop applications with java programming language.

Other than java programming language, this software support other programming language too like PHP, HTML 5, Javascript, C/C++.

It has bundled servers too : Glassfish server and Apache Tomcat, both servers useful for development with Java Enterprise Edition(Java EE).

So if you're bored coding with notepad, you can try netbeans to develop your apps.

Great hunt @deathcloud , Neatbeans is a good compiler, it does alot for you like automatically writing classes and registering packages for you when coding.
great software for coding in java.
cons:
too much simplicity for a beginner.

I used neatbeans for all my first in my computer science degree and i high recommend it. great hunt.

This is what I used during college days writing java codes. This is very easy to use and lets you able to use the classes easily. :)))

Yeah, I have used this software a lot on my windows laptop for completing my Java Projects. I've designed a Notepad project using Netbeans. It is super easy to use just like a random notepad.
