I like the design of the house and the image is enough for me to check it out. I wish there was a video included in the post hunt taking us a tour inside the house. I'm also not sure what 'passive solar design' means.

This is like a dream house. Currently, the scenarios in most of the metropolitan cities is that you don't get that fresh Air and you are surrounded by Air pollution all over. I see Sardinia Tunnel Home - as a perfect home which is full of greenery that brings nature close to you with all the Fresh Air--full of energy. Health is Wealth - therefore from my perspective, this is a good product to build your dream house in this fashion provided by Sardinia Tunnel Home. Great hunt friend and thanks for sharing.

There seems to be a trend toward smaller houses (tiny homes), as well as ec-friendly construction and reduced carbon footprints at the moment - and this fits them all nicely.
On first viewing, I thought this was a "buried" house, but the green roof is just placed on top. I wonder whether it'd work equally well built into a hillside?
If you check their website, there are a few different design and size options too (number of bedrooms).
I prefer mid-century modern, Scandinavian design (minimal, of course), so this isn't for me, but I can certainly appreciate the idea.

I studied botany and would always find plant-based innovation interesting. Apart from the fact that this home is totally eco-friendly, the aesthetic and luxurious appearance is breathtaking and everyone including myself would not mind to have this as a home.

This sort of semi underground houses are extremely efficient! Probably the most efficient. The ground acts like an natural insulator and it do the job. The only issue is the light and the windows. It seams they have tried to solve it with big upfront window.

This totally Eco friendly home is a great example of that , plus it looks great almost hidden away, and the design saves energy an added bonus I love with cheaper heating bills!
