Even I had a View Master as a child in the 70s, at that time with round picture discs made of cardboard. There is now an electronic version where the housing comes from the 3D printer and the inner workings of Adafruit’s PyPortal. A 3.2" screen with microcontroller, WIFI connection and microSD memory card slot is used for display. The small mini-calculator is completely sufficient for displaying the pictures.

The eyepiece makes the viewing experience feel immersive and novel. When you pull the down on the crank, it goes through the image on the screen like a slideshow.

    I am truly amazed by this hunt! It reminds me of my childhood, may be this will happen to everyone. It's a lot more impoverished digital version. This type of product can let kids use less smart devices. Instead they can learn lot more thing from here. Great find!
