Yes, @bluegums, I agree about the microwave radiation concerns but it could be essential to have in an emergency situation where there would normally be no suitable network radio coverage. In that case, it could be left switched off until it's absolutely necessary to use it therefore would greatly reduce any potential for harm from using it.
