The Ocean Plastic Book project was compiled by an environmental charity,Ocean Waste Free. Collects plastic waste from all over the world, creating children's books which are all produced from recycled marine plastic.
Colaboration with Teijin (Japanese technology company)- which specializes in fiber production and plastic processing techniques - then tore the plastic into pellets and turned it into fibers used to make tears and waterproof material for pages and book covers.
Utilize dangerous marine plastic waste, and turn it into power for good that can be inherited for generations to come.

I like all the recycled products. They are the solution for a better future. I have seen books made out of elephant's poo. But this is something new. This book can give the children more attention to the environment and the waste in a passive way. And also this is more durable than paper books.

Very clever and something I would support by purchasing this book. We have to do something to clean our oceans of the plastic and I see this as a positive. So much more needs to be done and we should all be supporting these initiatives. Great find.
