Reading the short description you might got curious on how a watch is able to help stop gun violence, at least that is what I thought of first seeing it.

For this project TRIWA, a Stockholm based watch company, collaborated with the non-profit organization IM Swedish Development Partner, a initiative that retrieves and melts down illegal firearms, turning them into Humanium Metal, which then will be refined and mold into watch cases.

There are a variety of 4 models and straps (recycled plastic or tanned leather) to choose from that will consist of a quality Japanese Miyota quartz movement, scratch resistant sapphire glass, luminous hands and many more.

Model prices start at $227 USD and a part of the earnings will go back to the society where the firearms were originally collected to prevent gun violence and support victims of armed violence.
