Hunter's comment
Kids face peer pressure at school to abuse drugs, alcohol and other substances. The influence of the home environment sometimes lead young people into abusing alcohol. Parents have a big role to play in training their kids never to abuse alcohol. But sometimes, they lack the knowledge and courage to tackle this issue. Talk. They Hear You app was designed to help parents learn how to start a conversation with their kids about alcohol abuse. It includes practical questions and talking points that will make the conversation friendly and meaningful.
Some features of the App
The app features an interactive simulation that helps you learn the do's and don'ts of talking to kids about underage drinking. Using avatars, you will:
- Practice bringing up the topic of alcohol
- Learn the questions to ask
- Get ideas for keeping the conversation going

Nowadays, most parents would rather not to tell about the alcohol to the kids that would destroy one's health if they will continuously drink alcohols, it is better to know them about alcohols when they are kids so that they will aware of the dangers.

Many young kids are deceived into drug and alcohol because of the misleading messages on the internet.
You need to talk about it. And educate them about the dangers.

This is indeed an helpful tool, cos the rate at which young people are taking to alcohol and smoking in the society now is rampant and it is all due to parental negligence or lack of parental advice....

This is amazing. Communicating with kids can seem easy but it's not, you have to chose your words carefully in order not to hurt them. This app will make it easy for parents to chose their words carefully and keep the conversation going. Great hunt
