Does anyone know if the microphone does work in the wired mode? I plan on using these as a gaming headset as well and on Amazon it says the mic doesn't work in wired mode

When I am using bluetooth I hear a hissing song, but when I plug AUX. The hissing stops in both playing from AUX or bluetooth. Pluging to aux cancels hissing. Is this normal?

I have it and i must say that just amazing headphone that i ever had...I have bose, B&O and other expensive headphones but this one has really really fantastic sound and price is incredible...I plan to buy for my office also...
