The Smart core is a robot designed to correct the inconsistencies and fatigues that could be associated with the manual sampling of soil whether for agricultural or research purpose. It is essentially an unmanned autonomous vehicle that is GPS guided within a specified boundary within which soil is to be sampled.
The robot is equipped with Lidar based obstacle avoidance system which enables it to automatically manoeuvre its way in order to avoid obstacles or stops totally if there are no safe paths.
SmartCore is literally meant to be put in a field, given directives, and left alone until it has finished. It would then ready to be picked up and moved to the next assigned field. It has been designed to be working 24/7 to expand the opportunity for soil sampling to be done at the right time. Wow this appears to be really useful when it comes to soil sampling. Though am not into farming but this will really be helpful

Thanks for yet another hunt. Before I can approve it, please update the product link to actually point at the product rather the homepage. When hunting the homepage, more often than not a brand is hunted rather than a product.

I have done the correction. There are two sites to the product both by the same manufacturer. The old site has comprehensive details about the product while the new site (which I used initially) contains very little information). I used the new site earlier because I thought it was more appropriate since they are moving to this new site. Thanks for the review all the same.

I did not find the new website very product focused but rather service focused.
Only in very few cases is the homepage the actual product page (when we are talking physical devices). And to be honest, without any updated link I would not have approved the hunt because the initially linked website was too low on information and already required prior knowledge to actually know what the product is about, how it truly operates and is robotic. The new website seems to be much more about a business than a product int he sense of Steemhunt's product scope.

I sincerely believe so. Soil sampling on the field can be a bit challenging to scientists and automation would greatly ease this task.

Excellent, soil sampling will be very easy and quick compared to manual method. It is autonomous and having the ability to avoid the obstacles makes this soil collecting machine very helpful in any type of grounds.

This is the best invention and the best robot I have ever seen in this field. It helps and facilitates the work of explorers and workers on the soil as it moves in a precise and technical way that enables it to perform its work accurately. The thing that distinguishes it most and which I like is to determine the safe ways and communicate via GPS is actually the best robot.
