Hunter's comment
Smart Tray Return Robot is a humanoid robot that helps to return plates and other utensils to the kitchen after diners are done dining. The robot has self-guiding capacity, stops over when she senses that diners want to return trays and says 'thank you' when tablewares are returned to her.

I agree with the others comments regarding this hunt of yours. I think it is good for business to have robots like this to lure curious customers and diners and at the same time cutting the cost of employing a human. This robot is replacing human which is quite absurd in my opinion. Hopefully, the owner of the restaurant only owns one and still employ people to do the rest of the job.

Cool Hunt!
Hello, I really appreciate your effort and Here is my opinion about this hunt-
Although it is unique and most fascinating way to reduce the work load and it gonna make organization more profitable but I am afraid such robots gonna kill the employment.
Thank You & Happy Hunting :-)

I understand where the world is heading, but I would much rather see someone doing this job than a robot. This is part of the personal services that are going to disappear which I think is not right. I for one wont support businesses that replace staff with robots on these sorts of tasks.

Wished I could downvote this in an era of ever aging population and always more unemployment. :D
Only Singapore seems to have it right, it seems, by reserving jobs like those for the aging population in order to let them age gracefully, with actual occupations. Even if lower level jobs.

Lol... I understand your point but we cannot overlook the ingenuity in the innovation.

Absolutely. And if it hadn't been for me having moved to Asia and thus also heard and read about the ever aging populations, I may have thought differently.
In fact, first time in SG I thought it was disgusting that the elderly only got jobs like those. Until I grasped it wasn't about what job for them but about both having an activity and being an active part in society.
It's interesting to constantly having our thoughts challenged. Some years ago I would have thought this was awesome and upvoted this hunt as hard as I could. Now... I think it's shortsighted technical prowess creating more issues. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
