Since 1993 the Seamater Diver has been the de facto gentleman's classic timepiece, and to celebrate it's silver jubilee has been completely updated and madeover.
The dial is created in ceramic and in a nod to its diving heritage, the dial sports a wave pattern etched by laser.
The numerals have been raised and filled with a super luminescense making them brighter and easier to read at night.
The biggest noticeable change is the date window that has been moved to 6 o'clock to create greater symmetry and even the hands have been subtly sleekened.
These are classic watches are now sized at 42mm and there are 14 to choose from in this new 2018 range, 6 in Stainless Steel and 8 in a Stainless Steel and Gold combination with dials in either blue or black.
I love, and am in awe of the engineering and craftmanship that goes into creating a beautiful watch, and can well understand the reasons for their prices, which start at $4750 and rise rapidly upwards!
