Wattway is a way to produce clean energy
on your traffic lanes, parking lots and close settlement and factory with photovoltaic technology.
Wattway is can be installed on an existing road and does not require overhaul or much engineering work on the existing road. Any section of a road is been used by vehicles only about 10 percent of the time.
And with wattway's photovoltaic and road construction techniques which can carry any type of vehicle, clean and renewable energy source from the sun is been generated in the form of electricity for nearby settlement or industry.

I saw a similar highway a few years ago, I don't know if it is the same technology, I don't recall the details. Anyway, I think that this is a great idea for future highways, but I don't think it can be implemented everywhere yet. We need more tech advancements like this one.

Saw something similar a while back, but it generated energy while it was walked upon, the power could be used to power small electrical appliance, never thought a wide scale one was available and something able to withstand the force of a moving vehicle.

I have seen the solar-powered road for the first time so far and I can say that it is a very successful project.

Great hunt @golddeejay This Wattway with photovoltaic solar panel is one step to a better environment. It's a creative idea for an electric power supply. However, i wonder can the solar panel last if overload by heavy object like a vehicle (for carpark solar panel).

Oh there, I see more of the comments now. It does not break even when cars roll over it? This is indeed a great solar panel. With limited spaces specially in urban areas, we an use the road for dual purpose - car avenues as well as energy captor.

What an innovative idea to place solar panels on the road. This might be better suited for roads that don't experience heavy traffic, though. Otherwise, the solar panels won't get much energy being stuck underneath cars. Lol!

I think it's very convenient for both the developers and the drivers that the installation doesn't need a full overhaul of the roads. Of course, the positive effect to the environment it can later reflect would be the best thing. Thanks for this awesome share :)
