The green cone solar digester is a product of Green Cone, a company based in the USA. The composter uses solar to harnesses the heat from sun and utilize such heat as a catalyst to speed up the process of microbial decomposition of the food wastes.
The product has the capacity to compost up to 1.5-2lbs of food wastes per day and can reach a temperature of up to 50 degree Celsius.

You almost got me @fknmayhem. The product looks so simple yet so innovative and solving a host of problems. The basket is usually under the ground making any form of emission from microbial activities absorbable by the soil. Emission is also cut when compared to other manual or electric digesters. The compost generated can directly be utilized in agriculture or any other related activities while the obnoxious, germ-filled odour associated with other digesters is completely excluded with this product. I could go on and on but I don't want to sound too coercive....lol. Thanks for the review, the approval and the upvote.

50 degree is enough for decomposition and it is the most natural way of decomposition and I am sure it must be cost effective also. I think we need its wide application. Best hunt.
