Elixir is a functional language which scripting Erlang VM more fun. It is very fast, scales well and is a great way to write cloud apps.
One of the main benefits of using Elixir is its blazing fast Phoenix web framework which gives access to Web Sockets and practically eliminates the need for front-end Javascript apps in online web applications.
