SOMPS is short for Sompi, the smallest unit of Kaspa, each Kaspa is divisible into 100,000,000 sompi.

One Sompi (SOMPS) is equal to 0.00000001 KAS.

On the Kaspa blockDAG and in its source code, all amounts of kaspa are denominated in sompi.

These amounts are only converted to Kaspa for familiarity and readability.
