Let me introduce you to Pydio, an open source file-sharing and synchronization application that runs on your own server or in the cloud.
This allows users and data owners to store their data in the storage they have, allowing them to store data in their own infrastructure, of course with the data security policies that they manage and management of user access rights.
Pydio is available both in the community distribution and enterprise distribution versions.
