We often hear or even see gunshot brutally in the crowd and public space and now we have ShotSpotter. It is a technology developed for Smart Cities to reduce and respond quickly in the event of shooting both in public places and on campus.
The way ShotSpotter works is by;
- Sensors and software
- Acoustic assessment
- Alert to agencies

Hopefully, this technology can reduce or even eradicate brutal and sadistic gunshootings both in public and on campus.

I feel a CSI already with this app. Being able to monitor traces of gunshots seems like a good thing to keep our societies clean, still dangerous though, maybe you may trace the wrong gang and then boom! Flawless hunt!

Yes, it's true, the possibility of tracing the wrong gang is there, but the positive thing about Shotspotter is the ability to know gunshots in a fast period of time with the help of a camera, acoustic sensor and speed in taking action, thanks for stopping by.
