Volturnus or V-pod is a simple yet complexed device that, when submerged in moving water, generates zero emission electricity. With V-pods you can produce emission free energy even in remote places (if flowing water is near). It offers direct deployment and is completely safe to environment.

This is a very cool thing. There are many inventions that can convert water into energy. My Fiance lives in Norway and they get most of their electricity from a water-powered tube that runs down from the mountain on their property. But this is really cool as well and I am happy to see so many inventions such as these. The Energy Companies really do take advantage of their consumers. Great Hunt @k3vin

The concept is niche, I was going through the details, the company was set up in 2010 and since then on a mission to turning water into power, and have completed several projects so far. And have you seen their price comparison ? They are claiming to be able to generate power at10 cents/kWh. I think, it should be very affordable.

We have to change the way we are thinking and acting specially when it come to energy and the renewable energy is for sure the future.
