The Sennheiser GSP 500 PC Gaming Headset is an open dynamic type stereo headset that focuses on hearing fidelity and comfort of use. Between his perfect outfit and his impeccable sound reproduction, you have found your new playmate!
Design and handling
Level design is clearly in the gaming, which is good because it is what the helmet, with a touch of red on a helmet practically black and chrome on the fasteners. This gives him a clear high-tech touch.
Sound and microphone
Level immersion is the slap. We are totally isolated and nothing will disturb you . The outside world will no longer exist and the sound quality is totally spatial, the bass is really well balanced and the rendering is really natural. The volume button allows you to quickly lower or raise the volume without having to enter the settings of the console or pc.
The microphone allows really clear and audible communications. No stray noise disturbs your conversations.

I'm not a fan of games, but this headset did catch my attention because of the brand. I own a Sennheiser headphones and I'm satisfied with the audio it produces, so I don't doubt that this headset will produce the same audio quality.
It's kind of surprising how owning something of the same brand creates that connection
What got my attention as well was its design. It's interesting how manufacturers design luxurious headset like these for gamers.

I'm not a gamer so this headset would be for listening to music. It looks awesome, I love the colour combination, black and red is always a winner. It would be perfect as it isolates the outside world and I could hear only the music, every sound clearly. Nice hunt!

I would NEED This Gaming Headset '''if''' Sennheiser pull their finger out and make Wireless versions for their GSP600 model. I don't ever want to be tethered on gaming headsets, nor mice, nor joypads. Keyboards, keypads, flight sticks, yokes, steering wheels are fine for tethering/cables as they are mostly stationary once positioned etc. But headsets, joypads and mice; give me a break and lose the darn cables to help give us identical wireless version options of as many decent models as possible.

I feel that these are the headphones I am looking for, especially for my nephews who always want to play with a high volume their games and for temos to damage their ears, I prefer to do it at low volume. They have started to hate me! But with these headphones they will love me, because not only is the presentation great, but they will feel disconnected from the world. Excellent!

The reason why "gaming headsets" have high clamping force is because they were designed for their core demographic - children. Children have smaller heads so headphones fall off easier. If you are an adult and a gamer just get a nice pair of open-back headphones and attach a lavaliere mic or a modmic or use a desk mic.

i cant decide between the the game one and GSP 500. i will mainly use with xbox and ps4 controllers. which one should it get? side question, if i am using with xbox directly plugged into controller, (not using headset adapter with buttons on it), will that work ok? will i be missing out on anything? i see that xbox adapter is really expensive now, so just questioning if i even need it. also on ps4, since there is no adapter with buttons like xbox has, im guessing all game/chat audio is done in a menu?

I have the Game One. I will never get rid of it whats so ever. Ever since i got it, my mates have said that the mic is absolutely amazing; I used to own a Kingston HyperX Cloud Revolver. Dude stick with the Game One honestly. I bought them because of your review convinced and oh boy are my ears pleased :D
