Voyage XR is a system to "teleport" someone on board your vehicle.

Thanks to the sensors and cameras installed in the car, she can take a seat in the cabin and see everything on board and around the vehicle, and of course lead a discussion with its occupants. At the same time, the avatar of this person appears in the rearview mirror, giving the impression that it is on board!

What is it for?

To cultivate the part of the dream, and it's already huge. And beyond the fun aspect of this equipment, Valeo imagines the case of an autonomous vehicle where, for a reason X (driver's failure, for example), it would be possible for an operator to remotely take control of the commands of said vehicle to bring it back safely. In this case, the on-board cameras make sense. This system also opens the way for new services related to fleet management, automatic carriers or remote assistance to autonomous shuttles.
