It’s a common thing to leave our laptops unlocked when taking a quick break. “it’s just a quick break” we think. But that short time is enough for any security breach in any company. This is why Sniped was introduced.
Sniped is a fun Slack app that increases security awareness at the workplace by getting your employees to lock their workstations.source
How does it work?
When you find an unattended unlocked laptop
Type /snipe @ your username on their slack
Unlock their laptop.
You will be given a ‘star” for your effort and the person will receive a warning for not locking his/her laptop. And you know what that means. You get to keep the company safe from security breaches
