Proteus

An application that helps you on your problem about PCB layout and Circuit Simulations. On my college life, i always used this one because it is easy to learn and also contains lots of components specially the needed ones, the microcontrollers.

Proteus PCB designing is a combination of making an Schematic and PCB layout for you to have a powerful, integrated and a cool PCB Design.

Visual Designer and VSM Simulation, the Proteus has the ability to simulate both high and low levels of micro-controller coding.

PCB stands for Printed Circuit Board.

Based on what i have read on some engineering blogs, the Proteus has released its newest version and i do not know what version it is but there are some rumors that it is more advanced than the older Proteus application.

Sounds cool right? Try this one if you have any problem or projects about Circuits or PCB designing.

seems cool!

I personally used fritzing for prototyping which can be used for PCB designing as well. Based on the website and the UI on Proteus, it seems like it is an app which meant for windows only. Fritzing has cross platform support but not suitable for advance stuff like what proteus or microsim provides.

Pfffm I just added this to my favs, seems like a clever way to learn about circuits, without actually screwing it up!

@ loydjayme25 very good hunting friend
a way to learn from circuit
Thank you very much for showing us this product
I wish you a great day and happy hunting

Aside from using multism, I also used this software.. Proteus has the ability of simulate circuit and design a PCB layout.. In my experience, proteus circuit simulation is quite in accuracy of compared to multism.. But, its PCD layout design is way a powerful tool.. What I mostly like is that it has a 3D visualization in which users can foresee the PCB design in 3D manner.

remember to hunt really your best finds on the web, we want the site to be fully of quality awesome products that people will love!

some power tips for the next hunt.. .

  • use animated gifs up to 10mb
  • quote some of the text using > arrow
  • write your opinions about the product
  • comment pro and cons on other hunts

  • write a blog post about your top 5/10/25 :)

It is suitable for students who are majoring in electronics.

Pros:

  • It enables you to write and apply your own firmware to a microcontroller component.
  • It helps to give an insight on how your circuit will look like.
  • It helps to save time during circuit designing.
  • It has both schematic capture and PCB layout modules.

Cons:

  • None that I see.

Congratulations!
