I have known Panasonic brand to be more of home entertainment appliances like TV, radio, etc. and never expected that they have aviation products and services.

For those who have been traveling through air, you would know that most, if not all, airlines do not have network connectivity. The common reason for that is because data signal is usually very weak to almost nothing at very high altitude plus the fact that airplanes are moving away. This leaves the passengers isolated from the online world while traveling through air. However, Panasonic has come into play with eXConnect as a solution.

eXConnect is an inflight high speed internet system supported by Ku-band aeronautical satellite network which is also manufactured by Panasonic. It is the only inflight system available today.

With eXConnect, gone were the long and boring flights because you can stay connected or online while you're in the air.
