It is in the news lately, Chanel 5, the first perfume launched by Coco Chanel, is being teased to move over. That is because AI perfume maker, Philyra, is here!
It is a system that uses new and advanced machine learning algorithms to sift through hundreds of thousands of formulas and thousands of raw materials, helping identify patterns and novel combinations. Philyra does more than serve up inspiration – it can design entirely new fragrance formulas by exploring the entire landscape of fragrance combinations to discover the whitespaces in the global fragrance market.

Hi @urbangladiator. IBM's main product lines are more on server hardware and IT consulting services so this new AI app they created is not lined up with their "regular" products and services. I think it has the same logic as my previous hunt: https://steemhunt.com/@macoolette/bmw-intelligent-personal-asst-ai-inspired-intelligent-digital-assistant-on-board-bmw-cars wherein the intelligent personal assistant can not be lined up with the cars so it was launched through BMW's official blog site.
In regards to availability, I quote this statement from the product link.
With this, I believe Philyra app is already available, tested and used.

Artificial intelligence is reshaping our lives and it is good to see that it is being used to generate different kinds of fragrances. It is very difficult to satisfy the choices of every human as we all have different choices. So this may be able to satisfy! :)

It's really surprising IBM involved with the development process of this AI.
I thought IBM doesn't care about fragrances 😝
2 perfumes created by this AI will be released next year, so I'm curious about how good this perfume smell ☺️

Indeed, this is a surprise because IBM business is in a different industry but here it is. They did it. Hopefully their perfume gets into the local market soon and not so expensive so we can try. 😊
