macoolette..sorry to bother you but I just realized that you said your new job was not AS TOXIC as your old one. Does that mean the new one is toxic but just not as bad? And if that's the case, isn't there any good jobs there? You might have to move to Texas, we have tons of jobs available here!

haha! hey have you ever tried indeed? The huge job site? you just put in what city or state and they send you jobs that open up in those areas. We've been in an economic boom for 20 years here, over 1,000 people moving here each day and they still need workers because so many companies are moving here too.

It was long time ago when out of curiosity, I tried checking on job sites. However, I saw one with a disclaimer that they will not sponsor the visa. I thought that could be the same to most if not all the job posts. I forgot about it and never tried again.

well I don't know what the living costs are there but I know if people can figure out cheap housing while they're here they can make what amounts to a fortune in their home country and then go back rich after a few years.

Yes, others do that and I hope everyone who goes abroad do so. However, many come back only to go back to their old quality of life. That is because while they are somewhere out there in the world earning like carabaos, their family members are just sitting here waiting for remittances. When the poor earner goes back home, the earnings are gone. Just too sad but it's what is happening. People need financial education.

Carabao is one of our national symbols because it is our national animal. It was chosen so because of the heavy labor that it does for people specifically for farmers. We dub people who are working so hard as "working like a carabao".
