Warfield
A First Person Shooter Game where you win crypto for kills

Hunter's comment
This seems to basically sum up what everyone wants in life. Crypto and FPS gaming (well for some people anyway). It kind of harps back to a Ready Player One kind of thing, where if your avatar dies, you get their inventory and coin.
This is going to be released within the next week or so
There is an underlying GLDR token which is an ERC20 token on top of the Ethereum blockchain. This means that eventually, you should be able to move that token onto exchanges and then even transfer it out into real-world currency.
Of course, you will be able to use to tokens to buy in-game item and power up etc.
The initial instance of the game is browser based but their roadmap does show that they will be releasing on phones and consoles in the next couple of years.
All in all, this looks like a really great concept, probably the first of it's kind and I am really excited to see what comes of it.

Love it. There are a few games on the steem blockchain that pay for play but great to see more in the works. Looking forward to this and to see if it takes off.

ha ha and now there will be no reason to quit gaming. It would create an upper class society that are crazy good at gaming. Interesting concept I would be down.
