For privacy and security, your offline data is stored on your computer by default. If you choose to create an online backup, your data will be backed up to servers so you can synchronize it across multiple devices. You can add special labels and notes in Facebook profiles and search through your notes, for example to find all friends who are connected to a specific location and copy notes from General information, synchronization, and backup across multiple devices
