Inspired by the famous Chinese novel "A Journey to the West" (aka Monkey King Legend), and developed by Magic Design Studios, this 2D action-adventure game features four totally opposed and implausible heroes: (i) MonkeyKing, who is selfish and impatient; (ii) SandMonk: a strong, but shy personality; (iii) KiHon, a carefree but fearful character; and (iv) Shifu, the wise and logical.

The game has a beautiful and striking artstyle which instantly grabs attention.

The player would discover colorful places and characters and terrible bosses and enemies, and they can decide if they wanted to play the full game with only one character or switch to a different character at any time during the game play. The game can be played in co-op up to 4 players.

The adventure takes place in four different environments: (i) Canyon Crane, (ii) Underworld, (iii) Taoist Temple and (iv) Flaming Mountain. In each environment, the hero will face different puzzles, challenges and enemies, and they have to defeat the boss of the environment. Moving on successfully will give the hero new skills, power and energy.

        What a great hunt for online gamers @monajam!

        Pros:

        • Tons of games to choose here, thus, more interaction involved
        • Fun and Enjoyable
        • This video game seems family-friendly
        • Fantastic sounds, animations and visual effects
        • Allow users to discover many different worlds, something to look forward to

          Pros:

          • Very great man, with good graphics and good in-game animations.
          • Great concept of the challenges, the different environments wherein there is a ruling enemy, kind of like the game Dragon Nest.
          • This would be hit to gamers who love to play games with quests/challenges.
          • Great selection of heroes with differing characters and of course skills, my bet is the Monkey King.
          • Overall, the game is great despite having it as a 2D.

          Cons:

          • The looks of the Monkey King is very similar to the hero Monkey King in DoTA 2.
          • Hopefully, this game will be released in Steam.

          Pros:

          • Graphics is superb which can really catch the attention of gamers
          • The game has a challenging environment.
          • This game can really attract all the gamers who loves challenging battles.
          • Characters were inspired by a famous Chines novel (one way of letting users visualize the characters in the novel, somewhat an injected literature to a game)
          • The game is in its 2D version which makes it classic but still elegant because of its graphics that can compete to 3D games.

          Cons:

          • Hope that developers will adopt the blockchain technology and reward players with liquid coins hahha!

          Wow! Such an interesting game!

          Pros:

          • The children and even adults will surely love this one! The game levels really sound interesting
          • It can create camaraderie and good teamplay since this can be a group game
          • It can create excitement for the players since different worlds will be unlocked

          Cons:

          • Some people may become too addicted to this one just like any other addictive games, thus limiting productivity for other things

          Pros :

          • Adventure game that many players love
          • It is based on journey to the west
          • You can explore the beautiful of the world and face terrible challenges along the way
          • Great fantasy experience
          • A more challenging player to player

          Pros:

          • The game can be played up to 4 persons
          • Summarizes the story of the monkey king which I also liked because Monkey King is one of the Dota heroes
          • Gamers would definitely love this, since I am one of them
          • Graphics are really good enough to be curated
          • It will be challenging since it will be an arcade mode
