X-Men is a mutant , a human subspecies that is born with superhuman abilities. X-Men strives for peace and equality between normal humans and mutants in a world where antithelial bigotry is very strict and widespread. They were led by Charles Xavier, also known as Professor X , a powerful telepathic mutant that can control and read minds. Their enemy is Magneto , a powerful mutant with the ability to produce and control magnetic fields . Professor X and Magneto have opposing views and philosophies about the relationship between mutants and humans. While Professor X works towards peace and understanding between mutants and humans, Magneto views humans as a threat and believes to take an aggressive approach to them, even though he has found himself working with the X-Men from time to time.
