This is a whole new way to practically learn about structures and structural engineering.
Build models with this modular construction system that simulates real structure behavior. The model is composed of different elements, that are connected through magnets, allowing countless combinations, and the latest incarnation also includes cable elements so you can create suspension bridges, tensegrity, cable-net systems and stayed systems, etc to check out their characteristics! Kits can be combined with earlier versions to create monster structures to examine!, and even explore some prototypical structures!
This is serious science and mechanics and is backed up by some heavyweight experts and scholars.
Great for students to get a 'feel' of how a structure will behave before applying the Maths as well as people who just love kits like this, it is sure to provide hours of educational fun!

A good ideas but a bit pricey though, pick up a buggered mechano set for a fraction of the cost. Poly Bridge on steam is worth getting.
I think that there's a market for good quality science/engineering toys like they use to have in the 90's. Stuff like Mechano (but not as expensive) the 300 in 1 electronics box, chemistry sets, etc
I am a big believer in learning by experimenting/play rather than by pure theory and sitting in class whilst the teacher drones on.
