Digital technology makes another attempt to infiltrate Scalextric and the world of slot-car racing with this new app-based system offering the wireless creation and management of races using your smartphone or tablet.
Using the existing Scalextric Digital sets and controllers, this new App revolutionises the race experience by offering you the choice of no less than eight race-modes and literally hundreds of combinable parameters to customise and control your race conditions.
ARC comes in three versions:- ARC One, ARC Air and ARC Pro which is the full digital version and allows up to six cars racing at once along with other benefits of digital control including lane changing and overtaking.
My personal thoughts are that Scalextric are a little slow on the development of digital and app based control and it will be necessary for them to get up to speed to both retain their younger user base and encourage new 'big kids' to buy in and play.

This is quite a nice game, when I was still a boy, the only game I was good on was Car Racing and seeing this now, its bringing back old memories and I love the fact its wireless and up to 6 players can join the race. I will love to show my forgotten skills again. Nice hunt
