Kepture is an adaptable minimnalist tool that makes it very easy for you to make animated GIFS. I got particularily interested in it because GIFS have evolved to become an easy way to pass across a feeling or make a point.

It lets you record on screen activity for up to ten seconds and store it as a handy GIF file that can be shared easily

It will be extremely useful for showing someone a brief tutorial on how to do certain things online. It comes with custom keyboard shortcuts and a menu bar option which allows Kepture to always be at your finger tips

There is a short GIF video which was obviously done with Kepture on the Product website which shows how the product can be used

    Pros:

    Gives a good impression at the first look
    Gif creation made possible even for non techies
    Useful to demonstrate a product feature

    Cons:

    Comes at a price, while there are other web apps that let you create gif's for free
    Timing of the GIF is less and it should be customizable

    • great tool for creating gifs
    • simple features made easy for beginners

    • Has subscrisption amount. There are free gif makers out there

    • it has great features and very useful.

      Pros:

      • Creation of gif animated quickly
      • Easy to use
      • It is not necessary to set up an account to use it
      • It is a simple but elegant menu bar that does not hinder the screen.

      Cons:

      • You have to pay to be able to use it even though it is an economical price.

        Great hunt man!

        Pros:

        • Easy way of having a GIF.
        • Easy and good UI.
        • Price is quite reasonable, since it is a very helpful tool.

        Cons:

        • To some, price of around $3, it might have been made as free. But I guess it would cover for developer costs and server costs.

          Pros:

          1. Has a menu icon which allows for quick and easy snapping.
          2. Supports hotkeys for quick and easy use.
          3. Has a customisable record time, which provides slightly more flexibility when recording.
          4. Modern design and looks like it fits at home on mac.

          Cons:

          1. Doesn't have a Windows alternative
          2. You can get similar products for free, so in my opinion, this is overpriced for what it offers, albeit a tiny amount of money.
          3. Overall the feature set doesn't look like it provides anything more than alternatives on the market, and I can't see what separates from its competitors. The pros I mentioned above are also common across other applications of this nature.
