The Podcasts Android app follows the company's new Material Design 2.0 design language. Google's design language is also being used in the new version of Google News, Google Tasks and Google Now. In practice, the presence of clean lines, the Product Sans font and stylish aesthetic lines are striking at first glance.

The application does not offer much more than a standard podcast listening experience. Users can subscribe to their favorite programs via the application, mark the parts they listen to, download podcasts, change the playback speed, and podcasts can be rewound 10 seconds forward or 30 seconds.

Google Podcasts, which feature navigation with standalone applications, allow you to download files and listen later. The publisher you want is easily included in the subscription function, which you can easily find with the search function. The point that Google Podcasts tries to distinguish itself from its competitors is the familiar AI system that the company is accustomed to.
The app offers customized suggestions to you, taking advantage of Google's advanced artificial intelligence. Entering every aspect of our life as Google ads, this artificial intelligence will also advise us on publications that we may want to listen to. The system will probably work perfectly after a while, because Google can sometimes recommend you publishers you are already subscribed to.
