squido aims to include everything needed to build and deploy a static website. No time wasted learning frameworks, writing code and play around with deployment. You simply write content, customize style/layout, build and deploy.

I think the days of static websites are passé. But for the uninitiated, there are already many such services, Squido may add to that list. Dunno what it does differently though!
