Buildings such as greenhouses, skyscrapers, which mostly use glass exterior wall building materials, so that more sunlight enters the house or building.
Build Solar supported by the University of Exeter got the idea to replace traditional exterior walls with solar glass blocks.
Solar Build offers Solar Squared as a solar glass block solution, to still be an exterior wall and can be a solar power plant.
Solar Squared is a transparent block that contains optical elements that focus on sunlight to individual solar cells in it, cells connected to each other to produce electricity that will charge the battery.
Good product, with Solar Squared, a house wall can be useful as a solar power plant, a creative idea!

Buildings need walls anyway so if they could be used to harvest energy as well as provide security/shelter we could hit two birds with one stone. This is a great innovation.
