The dinosaurs die out but never go out of style, much less when the world premiere of the new title of one of the most taquilleras sagas in the history of cinema, 'Jurassic World: The Fallen Kingdom'. Taking advantage of the pull of the new movie, the people of Ludia have launched the official game, which is already available on both Android and iPhone mobile phones.

The dynamics of Jurassic World Alive is exactly the same as that of the successful Niantic title that in the summer of 2016 brought millions of people to the streets, Pokémon Go, but with dinosaurs as its target. We have tested it and we tell you all the details about it.

Same maps, same stops
Once we download the game and log in (we can do it as a guest or log in with Facebook) a tutorial that explains the first steps starts quickly. Those of you who have played Pokémon Go (who has not done it?) Will quickly realize that everything in this title is exactly the same as it is in it.

Our goal is to hunt the dinosaurs that have escaped from Isla Nubla and that now walk our streets. In this way, once we have created our profile what we have to do is the same as in Pokémon Go: get us started.

At that precise moment we realize that the refueling stops in this game are located in the same place as the Pokémon Pokémon Go. This is because the maps used are the same, maps that Niantic took advantage of from Ingress. But the similarities are not only found in the locations.

As soon as we start playing we realize that the dynamics are identical: we have to hunt the dinosaurs that appear in front of us thanks to the augmented reality and for that we use a drone that throws darts (the equivalent of Pokéballs). We have to hit and hit several times on the point that marks the game on the dinosaur, something that seems easier told than in practice.

To do it we have limited darts but we can recharge them in the stops that we have mentioned previously (those that are located in the same place as the Poképaradas). Once we have hunted the dinosaur it becomes part of our collection and from here we can evolve it or even create hybrids by merging the DNA of two specimens to obtain new ones.

Another function identical to Pokémon Go is to use incubators. When we get eggs at the stops, we can put them to incubate so that when accumulating steps, we obtain a new dinosaur for our collection. We can sell the repeated dinosaurs and obtain money (in the game) with which to evolve a specific species.

Of course there are also combats with other players; but yes, we need to hunt a minimum of four dinosaurs to access them, since the battles are made four against four.

In-app purchases
The game is free download but has in-app purchases that lighten the progress of the game and consequently win the matches. We can buy faster incubators that make our eggs hatch before, and we can also buy refills for the drone batteries that incorporate the darts, because if we do not find supplies stops they are exhausted and we can not continue hunting.

These purchases can be made individually but also offer the possibility of paying a monthly subscription method, which allows us to move faster and obtain supplies for a price of 9.99 euros.
